Folding Bikes

It’s great to ride off at the other end and enjoy the freedom without the costs of taxis or hire cars, ideally carried in aircraft, cars, on yachts, behind the pilot’s seat of single-prop aircraft, in caravans and on narrow-boats. At the end of your commute, your folding bike will fit safely and snugly in a cupboard, under your desk at work or in a cloakroom at the theatre or restaurant, with little risk of theft.
Some customers do not want to pay the price demanded for certain brands and so we seek out alternative brands that we are happy to sell. One has to be realistic when one is purchasing a Folding Bike, it use to be said that; ‘if you didn’t want to enjoy your cycling then buy a small wheeled folding bike’! To some degree this still holds true, but the small-wheeled folding bike has like all other branches of the bike world evolved and you can now have a very pleasant ride on one. Avoid the cheap brands and look at the main players then you’ll be fine. There are two types of folding bikes: the ones that fold well and the ones that ride well, the more you spend the better the bike will perform in both areas.
A few points to remember:
- The smaller the fold the likely hood is the worse the ride will be.
- The smaller the wheel the worse the ride will be.
- The cheaper the bike the worse the ride and the fold will be.
