Cycle Revival is an independent bicycle dealership in Heathfield, East Sussex, established in 1980 by Matt and Gordon.
We are an independent family run Bike shop in Sussex with over 42 years experience: We sell: Road Bikes, Urban Bikes, Comfort Bikes, Electric Bikes, Folding Bikes including Brompton, now also the Brompton Electric Folding Bike and Jump bikes to name but a few. We have the ability to keep up front with technology: Hydraulic disc brakes, advanced suspension, the use of carbon fibre and Titanium and electronic gear shifting such as Shimano Di2. The amazing improvement of electric bikes, (we have more than 35 years of experience with Electric bikes) truly the bike of the future. For the ladies at last, Women’s specific bikes with the geometry designed to suit the ladies on many bikes.
We work hard to sustain our unique partnership with the leading names in the bike business, such as Marin with whom we have enjoyed some 36+ years, Giant the largest bike manufacturer from Holland, Claud Butler one of the oldest and British bike manufacturers, Powabyke still a leader in electric bikes and Brompton, the first name on everyone’s lips when talking of the finest folding bike and for those who want a little more affordable quality folding bike there is the Tern. We’ve been involved with the electric bike market now for many years and we sell some of the most innovative cutting edge electric bikes out there. Such the very premium brand Whyte E bikes. We can back up 100% every bike we sell in our superbly equipped professional workshop, run by Matt who is a race trained cycle mechanic of some 38+ years experience, nothing leaves his workshop unless he is totally satisfied.
Touring bikes have more recently started making a come back and with the British manufacturer Dawes and Claud Butler in our portfolio we can’t fail to deliver on every level.
Way back in 1980 when we opened our bike shop in Heathfield, East Sussex, choice in cycle design was quaintly limited. Now we enjoy a range of cycles to suit everyone, from absolute beginner to competitive off-roader, youngsters on tag-a-long hitched to an adult bike, commuters on folding bikes and those whose first priority is a comfortable riding position, to fitness fanatics and those who cycle for sheer fun or long days in the saddle. More recently the Triathlon and Cyclocross market has grown and become popular with those out there that want something a little more special. There are a lot of cyclists riding off road and this has also open up the market for bikes such as Anyroad bikes, Gravel bikes and Tough road bikes, all are in different ways able to take the road cyclist off onto the unbeaten tracks such as the South Downs, East Sussex forests tracks and the Cuckoo Trail which runs through Heathfield, (in fact only 100 yards from our Cycle shop)!
