Electric Bikes Just Make Life Easier

Being one of the main electric bike dealers in the south east and certainly one of the most knowledgable, we get lots of enquiries. Especially at this time of year when the weather is warming up and people are venturing out.

If you work and live in a busy and built up area, then an electric bike can get you to and from work very easily, avoiding the traffic jams and getting in on time. The running cost of an electric bike is incredibly low: about 1.5 pence per mile. With a range from around 20 to 100 miles per charge and a regulated “assisted” top speed of 15mph, you won’t even need a license to ride it. And don’t forget, parking is free! So charge your bike each night and that is a pretty cheap way to get to work…

We sell a lot of electric bikes to women. Many of whom want to cycle out with their partners but are worried that they won’t necessarily be able to keep up. They want to enjoy their bike ride with a partner so an electric bike makes for the ideal solution. They can ride normally for the most of the way, but if there is a hill or incline, then they can just sit back and take in the scenery. Makes it much more fun!

Having an electric bike is also a great idea for our slightly more mature clients, who still love the idea of going on regular bike rides, but this just eases the pressure on the more tricky roads or inclines.

The wonderful thing about an electric bike is that it keeps everyone going out. There is no age limit for an electric bike and so anyone who enjoys a bike ride will benefit. You may not want to kick in the assistance very often, but you know it is always there if needed.
